Marilyn S Hansen was the Director of Interior Design for the department store J.L. Brandeis when it discontinued its furniture operation. Our first home was a 6000 sq. ft. mansion in disrepair at 39th and Dodge. We renovated it, submitted it to National historic Landmark, and received it\u2019s designation in 1982.<\/p>\n<p>The next 18 years were full of projects, large and small, community service projects, as well and an ASID Symphony Show house every year. We trained over 100 Interior Design Students from 1980 \u2013 1998 who were in their internship process. Marilyn was chosen to head the Governor\u2019s Residence Renovation in 1997-1998. This ASID endeavor was a $4.2 million success.
